This is a paper I wrote on the impact of service on the reputation of the church and its ability to impact culture while doing some non-degree doctoral work at the University of South Florida in communcations. I wrote it for a class called organizational communications.
Impact of Service on the Reputation of the Church
My conclusions were that if the church is going to once again be a true influence on our culture as it did in the first 3 centuries of Christianity, we are going to have to get back to a Sermon on the mount ethic and a service mentality.
My libertarian, athiestic professor seemed to warm up to me a great deal through my discussions with him on this paper…
