I’ve been thinking lately that it might be fun and educational if we had a mid-year SBC Missional Leaders meeting. It could be a one-day meet and greet where we had some fellowship and maybe dialogued with someone on culture, emerging worship, etc. Maybe we could meet at a church, have some pizza delivered and converse about a topic chosen beforehand. Would anyone be interested in that?
My first thoughts were maybe we could meet in the Chicago area. Joe Thorn, Scott McCoy, Scot McKnight, Robert Webber and even DA Carson are in the area. Maybe we could even meet at one of the schools and spend some time with one of these guys.
Would anyone be up for something like that?
