What are you doing that is reaching your community?
December 13th, 2005 by David Phillips
How are you reaching your community? Are you using servant evangelism? Are you doing some type of daycare or after school program? Are you simply building relationships and inviting people to church or sharing your faith with them before asking them to attend?
What are you plans in the summer for ministry?

David,
I am amazed that there are no comments following your question. I can only hope it is because people are busy with the Season.
Now, below are several things that we are attempting to do to reach our community.
-we have partnered with our towns council to serve the community through service projects. This includes feeding the public servants several times a year. Asking them about special projects to clean up our city. I serve as chaplain to the police officers and real estate sales people. We offer our building to the community for meetings and gatherings for free and serve them while their event takes place.
Our hopes are to offer different ministries to specific people groups like single moms, parents to special needs children.
We are a new church (July 05) and we are still becoming what God desires us to be.
I look forward to hearing some other ideas soon.
