Ed Stetzer has a new book coming out next month called Planting Missional Churches.  The publishers have made available Chapter 23 in the book, entitled “Preaching in the New Church” as a PDF.  An excerpt of the chapter can be found here as well.

The chapter deals with four kinds of Expositional Preaching, with the most common being verse-by-verse, thematic, narrative, and topical.
