Went to Applebees with family. Had a waitress named Lauren who is working on her Master’s in Vocal Performance at UNC Greensboro. She was an awesome waitress. We got her to sing, and she sang a couple of lines from “Sweet Home Alabama” at my request. Funny to hear that sung as if it were an opera! But she was a great waitress and very sweet and cheerful, even at 11:30 pm.
