Last year, Steve Brown preached at Northland - A Church Distributed, in Orlando, FL. I download the podcast and turns out he is speaking about how to get along with other Christians with different views. The sermon was titled, “Carnage, Coercion, and Co-Existence (peace and Unity among porcupines)”.
If you don’t know Steve, he’s a conservative Presbyterian and Professor at Reformed Theological Seminary.
This is an exposition of Romans 14:1-19, speaking about not offending your weaker brother. “Every Christian who is free ought to live their life so that uptight Christians don’t believe their saved.” Great Line!
This is a great message.

DP,
Have you listened to the White Horse Inn show called “The Weaker Brother”? It’s an interesting show. I am listening to Brown now.
And I want to let you know based on our earlier conversation that though I haven’t picked up Glocalization yet I have a few new things ready to read. Recently, I finished Harvie Conn’s Evangelism and he has some great stuff to say. More to the point I am finishing up Searching for God Knows What and starting Newbigin’s Foolishness to the Greeks and Hirch’s The Forgotten Ways.
Of course, I am fitting this in between my reading of this massive insurance planning book for the CFP. Whew! I can’t wait until this is over.
