Integrating Missional Thinking and Culture by W. David Phillips

Blogging this week…

Do Not Disturbmay be sparse. I’ve got a bit of reading to do and a big research paper due Monday along with a couple of other smaller projects. But after Monday, I will resume blogging through Whose Religion is Christianity – some really good stuff in this book – and The Big Idea. Also, I have a few thoughts I will be putting up on Cross-Culture vs. Counter-Culture. I have some thoughts on how the SBC encourages missions and its impact on North American mission work. And finally, I will begin some posts on a theology of change, looking at the deficiencies of our change theology and what new science – things like neurosciences, neuroplasticity, cognitive-behavior therapy and emotional intelligence – can offer to our discussion of change theology.

Can you share with us your thoughts?

If one person submits to another person, is the other person therefore in authority over the one submitting?
