Buy Shoes. Save Lives

This is a company located in Northern Iraq. The company was started by two Americans living in Northern Iraq and is “the only place to buy life-saving hand-made Iraqi shoes (called klash). Renown for their durability and detail, these shoes now save lives as we give all our profits to fund heart surgeries for Iraqi children dying from lack of health care.”

One of the founders states in a Relevant Magazine article that “Every person in the organization loves Jesus more than their own lives – otherwise, we wouldn’t live in Iraq. We point to Jesus every time people ask us why we’re doing this.” In addition, the surgeries being performed on the Iraqi children are done by Jewish doctors.

The shoes cost $100, and 50% of that goes to provide surgeries to Iraqi kids.

If one person submits to another person, is the other person therefore in authority over the one submitting?
