There’s an ugly rumor going around that my friend Joel Rainey is writing a book. Joel is the Director of Missions for the Mid-Maryland Baptist Association located in Columbia, MD. He has planted a church in South Carolina and now facilitates church planting in the association he serves.

His book is called Planting Churches in the Real World and it should be published in the next few weeks from what I hear. In the meantime, I was able to check his email and steal what appears to be the cover of the book. It’s my understanding it is not the final cover, but it appears to be the general concept.
