Integrating Missionally

This is the week of Christmas, and I have been looking forward to this week for a month. My wife and I are leaving and meeting our parents in Myrtle Beach, SC on Wednesday, Dec 23. If you are in that area, we would love to hook up if we can find the time. Email me and let me know. I am returning on December 27 and my wife is going with her parents back to Florida for a few days. She flies back on New Year’s Day just in time to watch her favorite football team Florida play in the Sugar Bowl against Cincinnati. Of course her team missed out on the big game, which my team, the Alabama Crimson Tide will be playing in!

Anyhow, there won’t be much blogging around here for a few days. I’m hoping to have a good bit of stuff for you after Christmas, but I’ve got some things in the works that may limit my blogging.

Holy Rewired

The main thing going on is my own book. My goal is to finish it the week that my wife is gone. It is entitled Holy Rewired: Science, the Gospel, and the Journey towards Wholeness. I am trying to get it out in January because I have another book I want to get out by March on a Missional Theology based on the Trinity. Here is the book cover for Holy Rewired.

Also, I’ve got a lot of reading I want to do while my wife is away. Between the reading, the writing, and the planning for next year, I may not get a lot of blogging in. But who knows. I’m almost through with the book; I have a chapter or two to add and some thoughts to finish on another.
